When Exxon's interests are contrary to the interests of the US who wins? Is Exxon too big to lose? Does it always get what it wants? it

Is Tillerson first and foremost a patriotic  American or  first and foremost out to get the best deal for Exxon no matter he does? Has Tillerson ever worked for anyone else or is Exxon his only employer?
What will he bring to the job of Secretary of State? Will he continue to put Exxon first?  Why else would Exxon want its CEO to be Secretary of State if not to game the system through him to get what it wants? Why not?

No company is too big to fail, if anyone doesn't put the country first they should be punished to the full extent of the law.( what ever that is )
