    1. A dear friend died this morning about 1:00 am. Haven't slept much.
    2. Just starting on my Christmas cards. Am trying to get my spirit up.
    3. Have a few new books I'm anxious to read. 
    4. Need to go shopping, but my heart isn't in a joyous mood.

    My condolences. Can't we help get your spirit up any way? Maybe wait a bit with the books. Buy yourself something lovely when you're shopping, a hot cup of chocolate or something else that will make you feel cosy and good. Wish I could hug you and give you a peaceful moment. Bless your heart.

    Same thing, different day except for slipping on the ice and falling down the stairs.  
    So thankful I didn't hit my head this time.  Twisted my back and hit hard on my back ribs.
