RALEIGH, N.C. — Donald J. Trump praised Saddam Hussein at a campaign rally on Tuesday evening, saying that he had done a good job of killing terrorists.
Speaking to a packed auditorium here, Mr. Trump first called Mr. Hussein, the former dictator of Iraq, a “really bad guy,” before offering him brief plaudits.
“But you know what he did well?” Mr. Trump said. “He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights. They didn’t talk. They were terrorists. It was over.”
Moments later, he added that after Mr. Hussein’s country was destabilized by the 2003 invasion under President George W. Bush, it became a breeding ground for terrorists.
“Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism,” Mr. Trump continued. “You want to be a terrorist, you go to Iraq. It’s like Harvard, O.K.? So sad.”
Gosh, an Authoritarian praises another Authoritarian to the cheers of fellow Authoritarians?
I have to give him applause for one thing. He is a genius regarding sinking to lower and lower depths. There is no bottom to this bottom-feeder.
But this really doesn't hit the mark regarding one authoritarian leader praising another. IT speaks volumes of one panderer to the violent praising that type of mentality. A terrorist pretending to defend killing terrorists. This is a new low even for this excuse for a human.

That is the standard thinking of the gov. Saddam was a bad guy. But we should not have removed him until we were sure we could handle the consequences. Because Saddam did keep the other idiots in line. It was said the reason the world believed Iraq had nuclear WMDs was because he wanted Iran to believe he had them so Iran would not think of attacking Iraq.
