Should there be a time limit on how long you have to edit a posted question? Not having one risks rendering responses not applicable.

I confess to changing an entire question just to make one responder look foolish back in the days of AnswerBag. I must give up my devil ways and come out of Babylon.

  • Though that's funny, in the scenario like yours, I would for sure, say yes, because, well, it was mean, too. (hmm, run-on sentence) Funny, though.........did I say funny?

    I like being able to edit with no time limit.  I also like the capability of deleting with no time limit.  We can realize we were wrong or asked something based on a false premise, etc.  I understand what you're saying though.  When it come to rules and regs I usually say less is more.
