Is dying kind of like sitting in the dentist's chair; "just relax.. this will not hurt.."?

    not really... but kinda...
     ...Most think they are the body,
    so when they see that they
    leave their body behind at its death,
    for some they turn the situation into 
    a separational pain because
    they don't understand.
    so, "Just relax..this will not hurt" is cool.

    That may happen. I think one's brain rejects and could fear the thought of imminent death (or going unconscious) so there may be a final reaction like trying to sit up or raising one's arms up like as if reaching for help; a last gasp for air -something like that.

    Who could say with any certainty until they have experienced it?  I do know that I have seen someone in extreme, chronic pain seem to have a reprieve from the pain in the final hours before their death.

    All of us hope it doesn't hurt and I hope the same thing. When in all actuality, it's going to hurt like a b&*^h!
