What did/does your family leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve?

We always did cookies and milk for santa, plus carrots for the reindeer. My ex was Scottish and had the kids leave santa scotch. Are there different traditions around the world?

    I think we may have done the cookies and milk thing.   I'm not sure.   We may not have because I have no memory of it.
