Well I can answer pretty objectively on this... I worry most of all... that he will alienate America still further, he gives offence everytime he opens his mouth...that's 1st on my list of fears. After that it goes something like this... in no particular order
2) He will make AMerica a laughing stock round the world.. we all laughed at Bush but he was relatively harmless and the laughing fairly good natured. With Trump however what we are laughing at is.. that anyone could be so stupid as to vote in such an ignorant, vile, ill-mannered bully..
3) That he could very well be so temperamental and stupid that he could hit that button in a fit of pique.. ok so, unless he is even more thick than we fear it wouldnt be aimed at the UK but it would start something that would affect us all
4) That his alliance with Putin could destabilise the west AND weaken Nato AND ultimately backfire upon the States... I honestly think Russia is playing America for fools.. NO WAY should they have allowed a foreign country to interfere in their election process. this is a democracy. the foundation of America... I think Trump seems to roll over for Putin, which is ODD... and I think he underestimates Putin and the power Russia is amassing while America looks the other way.. why is this important? cos I am pretty sure America is next on the hit list!
5) I guess for me, a civilised human being who believes everyone is equal - i guess what worries and upsets me most is that the hatred Trump spouts and encourages will cause Black people, other races, and women harm... in real terms, in their every day life... harm.. day on day that causes disadvantage - that has to be a retrograde step... America is supposed to be a leader... yet in Trump they are in danger of sliding into pettiness, fear and hatred...
6) I guess what I not so much fear as believe ... is that he won't make America great again... that people will be disappointed.. that's ok I guess but what if their frustration turns to hatred.. I guess this one more than anything is the one almost guaranteed... I will see American people disappointed, disillusioned... but worse I worry they will not learn their lesson and will make the same mistake again
oh and another of your posts just reminded me...
7) and this is a very realistic threat... I believe he will cause considerable and irreparable damage to the environment.. I'd hate to thnk what will happen in America for that reason alone - areas damaged and lost forever just to satisfy greed... The threats he makes re revoking America's commitment to reducing global warming are also a very real danger to us all.. If America do not meet their moral obligations and worsen global warming this will directly damage and hurt specific people and the whole world.. :(((((

Well, take two Bushes, one Regan and a Nixon and multiply their obnoxiousness by 10 fold, and stir them up and add a boatload of batshit crazy in the form of the VICE President Pence, and I do mean Vice, coupled with Newt the fruit, and the cast of deplorables he has as his advisers, and you can come up with your own conclusions. Every time I name one of them my stomach lurches.

I know and there isn't anything any of us can do about it. We tried but the trying time has gone and there is no hope . I've never felt that way about my country. Hopeless. Maybe I can think of something if try very hard. Thank you for your reply Sharonna! :)

Here's what I don't get excon. We have one prez at a time. ALLEGEDLY. Doofus Donny is under the impression that he is already prez butting his nose into very dangerous areas as if he has any power/authority. Netanyahu reached out to him about building more settlements in Israel. I read that the UN passed the resolution telling Israel to stop.
