@Stepper, you must be very musical! I starting playing the piano by the age of 3. I have a good ear and learned to play by watching my older sister play the piano. She was the one with the lessons. My dad played the guitar. Mother played the radio. I am a professional pianist.

Sadly, no.  I now wish I had learned some musical skills earlier in life but at the time the interest just wasn't there.

I can tell high notes from low notes, long notes from short notes and where two or more notes are sung on a single syllable.
