The Iraqi Kabab store on Lorain Ave. near 120th St. (Cleveland, OH) was open on Christmas Day. I guess the owner thought he'd get enough customers to justify opening his doors.
While this answer is delightful, I am at a loss as to how it connects with the question of being lonely. Whatever. I like the idea of Iraqi Kabobs just for the spelling alone. Imagine a word with a q and no u following it.
Well, assuming the owner is Iraqi, there is a very high statistical chance he (or she) is a Muslim. And, given that he opened his/her restaurant on Christmas Day, he or she is unlikely to be lonely because there will be customers...;-D...
I wasn't implying a debate between you and me, BlueJay, I was bearing in mind the possibility of Muslim spammers on the site lest they spam our comments with videos they think will convert us. Lol:)
When I was 20 years old that I went to the Holy Lands for Christmas. I went with a group of college people. I was explain in detail not to talk to muslims for my safety. Mostly the women. That I would be shot.

I see Muslims around the place and I don't say anything to them, I just leave them alone. I don't tar them all with that terrorist brush like some people do. However, I do think that Islam intends to have power over others, so I prefer not to blame individual Muslims but blame their religion instead. But since I don't say anything to them personally, I don't offend them personally and they leave me alone like I do them.
I have nothing against their people. I love them, but just careful in what I do. Our friend who ride the buses told us that some have been band for open their mouth the wrong way. It Islam who what power. Many of the Muslim are not involved with this junk that going on. Just like us America citizens, we do not support everything our government does. Just like the Japan people had nothing to do with the bombing us in World War II. It was their stupid government who was doing it and their navy. When we love other countries that we have to remove the government out of the pictures so our love for them is holy and pure.

They are not lonely. They have each other. You have to understand what they are going throu. They do not agree with everything their people do. We have the same issues here in the USA. We do not agree with what our people do either. Many of them are hurt, angry, they been push up to the walls. They need to be love, understand. They need real people to reach out to them and love them. They what friends. They what people to see they are human also. They need to be love.
