Have you stayed away from visiting a historical place because of fear of terrorism? Which one?

Thing is Saint Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai is an easy target and high concentration of tourists, mostly westerns. At the time we were in the region it was high risk and I couldn't make myself take my kids there. :-/

It changes a lot. At least for me. They are now the most important in life.

I have unfortunately been forced making such speculations. I would have gone if I was only myself, but being responsible for my kids made me decide differently. :-/
