    Some years ago I was phoning an advertisement to a local newspaper and asked the girl to put 2 in Roman nujmerals (that is II). She said, "My computer doesn't have Roman numerals." Honest!

  • Something that seems to have slipped through the cracks in modern education. It's probably time we put them behind us but we still need some knowledge of them.
