The normal, logical, sensible, reasonable thing to do is to engage in what you like. Avoid/ignore what you don't. Isn't that what you do?

The very very odd ones go out of their way to engage in what they dislike. Why? Do they like being upset/ticked off/bummed? Do they like to suffer out loud? What is it with these folks who keep showing up and kvetching and complaining and whining when all they have to do is move on to something else?

    Well, considering how absolute debate have become in the US, I think it is a good initiative. Maybe by looking at 'the bad' they can find some valuable use for it and so help recreate an 'inbetween' somewhere between the opposing extreemes. Every little bit helps ;-)

    I think you are right to a point Rosie, that's what hobbies are for, but in life experiences you have to take the good with the bad or bury your head in the sand. isn't it better to mix it up a little?
