American vs British movies part deux? Do you agree?

Having established in a previous discussion the tendency of American movies to be a tad more action driven than their British counterparts, the question of long winded and florid language came to my attention.
I reckoned  that to make it fair, I would look for an answer to the same question.

"Who are you?" seemed a simple enough question then.
