A prez has 100% power to fire whomever he wants except any SCOTUS member doesn't he? How many thousands/millions will Trump dump?

I think Trump is gonna clean house and get rid of everyone he doesn't like. Everyone who has ever criticized him. How far back will he go? What can he do to members of the press besides ban them from his news conferences? Can he imprison them?

  • Sadly the man is very,very petty and revengeful when it comes to anyone who has criticised him.. this is how he built up and maintained a business.. get rid of, silence the opposition .and now the power hungry mad man has a mandate that allows him to prettymuch do as he pleases...

    I know sweetie. The guy is 70 years old. He ain't gonna change no matter what. Especially because he really believes he is perfect and cannot improve. There is no room for improvement when you are perfect. He got elected so some people support that view. More's the pity! :( Thank you for your reply DdbTD and Happy Sunday! :)  Both the House and Senate will roll over for him. All his appointees some of whom appeared to disagree with him during the confirmation hearings will do exactly as he tells them to do or they'll be gone. They lied.  They had to lie to get through hearings. You will not see one appointee be at odds with Trump. Not one . SIGH  .

    Here's the crazy part..  NOBODY knows what he'll do - NOT his supporters, and NOT his adversaries..  He SAID he wants to be unpredictable, and he's DONE that.. 

    You and I, Rosie, think we'll see the BAD Trump..  Our right wing friends, think we'll see a GOOD Trump..  I HOPE they're right.

    The catch to that my friend is that the right-wing folks see good where we see bad and there is no reconciling that vast disparity. Thank you for your thoughtful reply excon. I think all hope is lost. I wish to be proven wrong. I don't care who does it !  :)

    Hello again, Rosie:

    Our right wing friends BELIEVE that the 20 million people who are insured under Obamacare will NOT lose their coverage.   Trump CONTINUES to SAY that.  If that happens, that's the GOOD Trump.

    However, the hallmark of Obamacare is the ADDITION of those 20 million..  They CANNOT be kept on the rolls WITHOUT forcing people to BUY insurance.  It's really a matter of math.

    Here's more math. Trump SAYS that they'll KEEP the provision in Obamacare that FORCES insurance companies to cover SICK people..  The math comes in when you realize that you CAN'T pay for that UNLESS you force healthy people to BUY insurance.  If you don't, the ONLY things that can happen is insurance rates, taxes, or the deficit will EXPLODE.. 

    So, no matter what they SAY, 20 million people will LOSE their coverage and sick people will NOT be able to buy insurance.  We're gonna see people DIE in the streets once again.. 

    That's the bad Trump who you and I KNOW, and our right wings friends are SOON to discover..
