Just because a person had a set expertise doesn't mean they can't be good at anything else. He also has his cabinet to help him. I think that much of the presidency is about dealmaking in one form or another from signing treaties with foreign nations to working with Congress to pass or repeal laws.
Thank you for your thoughtful answer Red Steele and Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day Monday to you. That is true . However all Trump talks about is how great he is at making deals. He says his second favorite book is the one he supposedly wrote called "The Art of the Deal". He says his favorite book is the Bible. Whether anything he says is true or a lie we can't know. If he is good at other things we shall have to discover that as he goes along and does his job. You seem to have faith in him. I have none. Different strokes. So what, right?

Happy MLK day, Rosie!! I do have faith in him. I think he'll do a good job but I reserve the right to change my mind, lol. As far as the other part, I imagine he is just complimenting his strengths like anyone would do who's coming in for a new job. I know that's what I do when applying for a new job or position. Either way, nice to meet you Rosie!
