  • It wasn't a disadvantage for Nyle DiMarco. He won America's Next Top Model and then went on to win Dancing With The Stars. I think that's pretty awesome. :)

    Tennis does not rely on hearing. It is a keep your eye on the ball game.
    Being deaf maybe an advantage less distractions.

    Advantages: He doesn't have to listen to his opponent grunt. No distractions from the crowd. He doesn't have to listen to his opponent's stupid winner's speech.
    Disadvantage: He can't hear the calls of the officials.
