I think "I Love Lucy" is my favorite TV show of all the shows I've seen!
    :)
    So funny!

    - and I've always thought Ethel/Vivan Vance is just as funny as Lucy in this scene. They were so good together in their working-together years.

True dat! She was hilarious! Didja see the one where she set her fake nose on fire?  William Holden was the guest and she was trying disguise herself.  Or the grape-stomping one? I think the chocolate production line has got to be right up there with the Meatavegavitamin sketch where she got drunk advertising a product! One of a kind dame!  We will never see that again!  Thank you for your reply Rooster. Brings back nifty long-ago and far away memories! Happy Sunday! :)

Though the TV show's writers obviously had a lot to do with it, Jean Stapleton's "Edith Bunker" is one of my two favorite fictional characters.
As we got to know Edith, we saw how funny, loving, intelligent and people-smart she truly was. She always had a caring word and empathy/sympathy for her fellow humans.

And along with you and Rooster (at this point of my posting), I agree with you both on Lucy Ricardo!
    :)

I think I only watched Soap once or twice. I guess I missed out on some brilliant comedy. Wasn't Billy Crystal on that show as a gay guy? Very  forward-thinking for those days. Thank you for your reply  Glis and Happy Sunday! :)
