  • Every gas station? No.
    But even in little Service Stations you can still.find stuff to eat. You showed surprised in our last conversation at the availability of food in our Gas stations, and I was at the lack of it in yours.
    .
    Yes, you get your.gas, and.just.like you say, pootle your way in and get yourself a big O burger, or a slice of pizza, or chicken, or sausage, anything yes. WHY?? Because it is there, why not?  )

    Btw, the coming back up sausage bit, is very clever.

  • If you say so, it being there.
    You buy a whole pizza at a gas station? Is that to tide you over until you get home from Walmart? ;

  • Alrighty.
    This is your common or garden van. I chose this pic because it says chips alot, and there's a curry and chips option (which I guess you think is gross)

    Here's one for you ...

    I have to confess that a whiff of onions coming from one of these things is rather hard to ignore. If you're lucky you might get something looking like this

    And then there's ones like this, which are pretty cool. I could live in that.

  • Thank you so much!! That little one is so tiny!!
    This my offer to you. And since.you so thoughtfully offer those "chips", I bring you "corn dogs"
    That is one sad looking hot dog there by the way. (

    Patriotically!  )

  • That's a lot to take in.
    Does the trailer make any of it taste any better? No one will ever convince me of the rightness of a corn dog, ever ;

    No I don't eat in my car and when I did travel I took an ice chest with my own food to eat.
    The only thing I might stop for is a cup of coffee and a sweet roll in the morning.

    It's just a rule I have.
    No eating, no drinking and no smoking in my car.

  • Is that a only with the car thing? Or are you so rules oriented all the time. Not being sarcastic. Im.asking sincerely.
    For example. When I was little, we couldn't afford a lot of shoes, so now, I hate walking around with dirty shoes. Dirty or worn looking shoes.
    But im basically a lot more relaxed everywhere else.
    You see?

  • "No" ... driving OTR, I've learned that truck stop food,
    although it may not be better for you, is a LOT fresher.
