The ACA just isn't affordable. Americans around the country are losing their doctors and the cost for having even the most basic of plans is rising every year to the point going broke. If the cost comes to the point that a family can't afford the insurance and have to drop it, they are penalized with an insane penalty around tax season. A basic health insurance plan for two perfectly healthy people in their mid 20s should not cost almost $900 per month. We need to repeal and replace it or adust it so that it works the way Obama promised it would work, which we know it wasn't suppose to work that way when the creator of the ACA said that they went through "torturous" measures to be sure that the American people didn't know the truth and the details about it.
Because it's a very flawed plan. Obama lied to the people when he said you can keep your current plan and you can keep your current doctor. People lost both. Yes, there was help for people to pay the premiums, but that went away and now it's too expensive for people to afford. People's jobs were affected because some business cut full time employees back to part time because they couldn't afford to pay for their health insurance. People who buy their own insurance have had their premiums raised to the point of not being able to afford it. Those of us who get their insurance through work aren't as affected. it's just flawed and needs to be redone. One of the problems is there aren't enough providers participating, that leaves a clear path to charge whatever they want for the ones who are in it. What Trump wants to do is restructure it to where other providers will be on board and that will lower the cost.
