If you only fight for/support the rights of those who believe exactly as you do you're not much of an American are you? What are you?

My right to oppose through legal avenues of recourse those areas of the national debate that I won't compromise on, have no bearing what kind of citizen or what kind of American I am. My question is this: For the sake of example, do you think that all those who were in the streets in recent weeks were there seeking accommodation for the OTHER side? Do you really believe that they were mindful of the rights of the opposition? The hatred, and poison that we heard is all the proof we need to understand what we were seeing.
