Aww shucks, I'm a golf fan. Not much happiness since it's 30 degrees F here. I have played golf in this weather, but the balls crack in the low temps!  This post was edited by B.H.Wilson at January 30, 2017 4:22 AM MST

I'm finished with my cleaning job. Oddly enough, we clean a tennis club. This post was edited by Element 99 at January 30, 2017 4:22 AM MST

Seems there was two 35 year old that excelled in that open.

Australian Open 2017: Serena Williams beats Venus Williams to set Grand Slam record.

Serena, 35, won 6-4 6-4 to pass Steffi Graf in the all-time list of major winners since the Grand Slams accepted professional players in 1968.  Good job to both.

Serena is ALWAYS EXPECTED TO WIN Beans. She was not out for six months because of surgery on her knee for  a Minicus tear. Roger was. His comeback was spectacular! Serena never left. Her win is no big deal. I wanted Venus to win. That WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG DEAL! Different strokes. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)

  • We stayed up to watch the game and the after-match interview. Wonderful contest. It's a pity one of them had to lose. So, yeah, I'm happy about Roger's return, too.

I'll be interested to take a look at the new rankings when they come out. Federer #17? Yeah, right! Venus should pick up a few places, too and Serena will probably nudge out Kerber to reclaim her #1 spot.

  • My dogs, my love, my feeling of peace. Age and knowing I'm over half way there.
(Byw, I wanted Rafa to win.)
