I would say "Thank you for thinking of me." And then remind the person wanting to give the car to me that I already have a car that I love and that runs well. I would then ask them perhaps they knew some else who could use it. If not maybe find a charity they would appreciate their donation.
I'd kinda get a kick out of driving a car that looked like that -- I've never minded looking ridiculous -- but I think I'll stick with my Toyota. I know that'll get me where I want to go.
