More to the point I see the slow erosion and the subtle changes that are wreaking havoc the world over.
Like our bodies, the earth can decimate itself merely by changing temperatures in strategic areas. The polar caps are melting from this subtle decrease in freezing temps.
That starts an entire domino effect as well as the Rainforest and it's problems of deforestation.
Even though there are hundreds of miles of Rainforest, the decimation of this area is ever-increasing and it is likened to the lungs of the planet. Without proper foliage, we cannot breathe either.
