Do you blame the Raiders for wanting to move to Las Vegas to play? Oakland sure doesn't seem to want to keep them.

The Oakland Coliseum is 51 years old now!

    Why is it incumbent upon the City of Oakland and/or Alameda County to provide the Oakland Raiders, a private profit-making entity with monopoly-like protections, operating facilities for the Raiders at taxpayer expense?

    Would you have the same attitude if Jamaal of the West Oakland Onionheads publicly announced, "Man, I'm movin' to Vegas! The welfare benefits here in Oaktown suck!"?

    Nah, I didn't think so...;-D...

  • They have such a big fan base in Oakland though. Tis a shame. A lot further for me to go to Vegas to see a game than Oakland.

  • I think so! But that was during Al Davis reign. He's dead now and the family runs the team. Old stadium and the only dual purpose stadium left in use.
