  • I think it really depends on the person. Myself? I enjoy some morning humor and a good smile. The News is depressing enough that I just want to come here and relax and enjoy myself as best I can. Foolish, silly, goofy? You're talking what I enjoy the most. After being a Mod on another site the last few years, I came here to enjoy life for a change and I'm just as goofy as anyone else. My conception of them?  Fun and enjoyment.

  • I'll give some kind of differentiation.

Foolish means you make bad decisions and lack  sense.
Silly just means you aren't  very serious about things
Goofy is an awkward form  silliness
Frivolous is a quality  of being useless or pointless for any practical purpose
