If conservatives are convinced that arbitrary public lynchings are the only proper response to the Dallas shootings, does that mean that Democrats should also get to lynch an NRA member every time one

While my political sympathies lie roughly in the same area as yours, I once again ask that you not go down this road.

I get that we can't concede the rhetorical space, but I don't think that means we need to be the ones throwing garbage into it. When an RWNJ throws out nonsense, by all means point it out, but claiming "conservatives" generally want to lynch black people is just as stupid as the wingnuts who claim Obama is a Muslim. Please stop it.

Based on the comments I've seen on new sites today, this sentiment is surprisingly common among Trump supporters.  They've been so brain-washed by right wing media, they think that expressing support for lynchings has become socially acceptable, and an example of them "throwing off political correctness". 

No. We don't do lynching in the USA. I am a conservative and in no way would I every support lynching, we have a justice system and that is what we should use.

Head over to Breitbart.com and look at the comment stream following stories about the shooting in Dallas.  You'll see plenty of people calling for lynchings. 

What it means is that you are trying to fight fire with fire.  It means that when you sink down to your enemy's level, you are just as bad as they are and cannot even call yourself a Democrat.  Not even a Republican.    Just another violent hater terrorist at the ready.

Careful you don't lynch the democrat members of the NRA.

The only people talking about lynchings are the progressives.  I have not heard one conservative mention hanging anyone. Is this a new disease that is afflicting progressives?  I  have a great suggestion for a name for it.
