Executive. Legislative. Judicial. A 3-legged chair. Remove two legs and how safe is it to sit in that chair?

Authoritarian. Dictator. Despot. A one-pony show. It gets very boring very quickly because it is always the same. No change. No variations on a theme. The "boss" does not share power. Takes all of it. Many countries survive like that. It is TRADITION! Can you survive too?  Eliminate all checks and balances and what is left? Does that satisfy you, comfort you, please you? Because?

It's already here  StuB. The Donald is at war with the Judicial branch and the Legislative branch is scared sh**less of him. Just wait till they cross him and you will see what I see. The Donald believes running the country requires one voice....his. If and only if the other two legs roll over and comply with his demands will they be gone from his crosshairs. If you have not observed his tendency to attack anything/anyone that dares to disagree with him then you must have been elsewhere doing elsewise. He has said he knows more than the Generals. Did he lie? He has said only he can fix things and keep us safe. Is that bullsh**? He is an Authoritarian dictator despot-in-waiting and has already shown us his fangs and claws. I can hardly wait to see what comes next. He said he had a plan to defeat ISIS. Why hasn't he implemented it? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)
