Discussion»Questions»Religion and Spirituality» The Pope admits that the Vatican is a corrupt place. Isn't that dangerous for him to have said? Will the corrupt ones target him?
When the guy in the looney bin tells you "Its crazy in here" you don't think he's just talking about everyone else.

The Pope seems to be a good and honest man. Whether his enemies in the church will conspire to remove him, as John Paul was removed in 1978, is a definite possibility.
In 2012, Monsignor Charles Scicluna (at that time a Vatican spokesman on child sexual abuse) said that a code of "omerta" existed in the Catholic Church in covering up extensive paedophilia. The hierarchy were outraged and, if I remember correctly, Scicluna was sent back to his bishopric in Malta.
If this man is the person many think him to be, then he shouldn't be at the Vatican.he needs to watch his back..

"The corrupt ones", means "Jehovah's Witness". Joseph Rutherford could have done the honorable thing by admitting that his JW Bethel was a corrupt place. Instead, he left it up to the public to find the light.
