Greeting everyone. I'm new here and wanted to say hello to all of you. Any guidance and/or help would be much appreciated. What is the easiest way to filter through questions so I don't have to scroll through topics I choose not discuss?
Tne easiest way is probably to hover your mouse pointer over Questions and choose the sub-menu "Categories". Then you can skim down the categories and find what you want.
Personally, I just start at the top and scroll through ALL the questions, skipping those that I can't answer and those that don't appeal. It might take a day or two to work it all out but it's a pretty easy site to navigate. (It took me a few days.)
Thank-you so much Didge. You are extremely kind and you friendly welcomed me. I look forward to learning the site routine and discussing topics with people.
There is a filter that gives you options at the top of the home page. There is also a FAQ section to answer any specific questions, and people here are always willing to help out, too.
I guess that my reference to trash bags on your other question didn't make much sense since you're new. I'll explain. There is a person here with a rather unusual obsession/fetish with wearing "clean, unused plastic trash bags". Questions about them are the only thing he ever asks here and the only thing he'll ever discuss.
Sorry I missed your party, Jeremy L. "Welcome to AnswerMug!"
Word of advice: Bad-mouthing coffee or any of it's byproducts, while on site, will get you an immediate tour of the AM dungeon! :) (The Boss really likes coffee!)
