    Whether they actually are or no is mostly a cultural thing, Some cultures are very competitive. As an example: in Japan and USA competition is seen as a value in and off itself.     Agree Lago, but supposing his need is very acute then isn't it better to dampen our chance? Maybe I'm not being realistic here,but bring idealistic is not that bad, ...hmm
