Discussion»Questions»Random Knowledge» Why fight lies? It's exhausting/counterproductive 'cause those who believe will NEVER disbelieve so what's the poinr of even trying?
I'd say we are better served to give people more credit than to assert that they can never think for themselves. If nothing else, facts are sacred. Lies contradict facts, contradict reason and more often than not, serve the cause of destruction, and promote delusion. If we don't fight lies, what is worth fighting for? How can truth/facts ever prevail? Personally, I have difficulty naming a more worthy cause.
