There was racism and bigotry and violence and the very rich and very poor. In the movie some of his speeches were spoken by him as a backdrop to the story especially at the end. It is shocking to me how the problems we had then (1968) we still have now. Maybe even worse. We can't or won't learn to get along. The bad guys then are the bad guys now. They seem to be winning. I wonder why?
