Fellow ex EP here. Hmm. What to be aware of. Most of all don't compare the sites, it's differently here. It all depends on what you really look for. You won't meet as many creeps here, you will not see trolls or spam (depends on how you define spam however) as on EP. On the other hand you might miss the speed of new questions on the questions board. Groups and posts of groups are way different than we were used on EP. I have been here since EP closed down, did sign up before and had my first vague touching around while taking my last stint on EP. Feel free to hit me up in chat if you got questions. i hope you will accommodate, but should be prepared to give it a fair chance over a few weeks. Best to do is to mingle inside questions to give people an idea about who you are. Friends will come from there. There are several ex EPeeps here but we don't really flash it, and might feel ourselves more like muggers, anyway it's how I feel it. Welcome. :-)
Good Evening~ It took me a minute to get back up here. Our alarm went off at 5am, as it always does on Monday mornings, and I was in the process of making coffee. That act, or course, led to other acts and so on and so forth. As you were and are to me, a great support team. You give wonderful advice! Thank you for helping me in my first few weeks too. However, I still have that pending question.. what is/was EP? The only Q & A site I was ever on was Ask.com. I met many great friends there. Some of which have been and will always be friends. Not friendships that you kiss away by the internet. When Ask did shut down, I came here and a few other places trying to see where they landed. Luckily, I found more than 10 of them here. This made me ecstatic! What is an equal delight is meeting new people on answerMug. Not to name names, but you being one of them. I'm sure Lunaaaa is smart. She'll hang around and find you are one of a kind and a person to fall back on when JA is swamped or has questions. Thanks for being such a help. But, before I go, what was/is EP again??? ;) :)

EP is short of Experience Project. Sort of Q&A community that however, initially started out as a support site but that was before I became active there. Basically it was divided into two sections, stories and questions (previously it also had blogs and confessions that could be made anonymously). Stories were belonging to groups/experiences. That's why a lot of EPeeps will talk about groups. The story section was featured like the question board here, across all groups/experiences. It gave a better overview of activities across the groups just like we have it here with the questions. Hmm. I think that will be about it. Oh. Way more activities inside the questions than here, but also way more trolls and spam because of this. There is a copy of EP running now that is called Similar Worlds. From what I have heard it's very much alike EP, including all the negatives. I feel myself more ta place here. I feel no need go searching for the drama. Yus.
Hmmmm, what Sapphi said above.. she writes better than me ... Also something she left out... Keep your hands inside the car at all times... Most important! Oh yeah, have fun.. we don't bite... Unless invited lol
I'm relatively new here, not an EP refugee but I've been on other sites. I think generally speaking, the Q&A sites are all pretty much the same in that you jump in, answer questions, and try to be respectful of others. The people here are very nice & most of us just like to have fun.
Yes, please speak to SH if something is bothering you. I've seen her help other people out that are having trouble finding their way around.
Hi Harry~ I don't think I've ever told you; but, I've always had an appreciation for how much your eyes tell me what you are thinking. You are observant. I also like the fact your hair is in place. Well Done. Lots of hugs and pats! It's great to see you! :) :)
ive been on ep too, also, a lot of people from ep are on similar worlds too, you'll see twice as many people from there if you go to both answermug and similar worlds
"Welcome to AnswerMug, Lunaaaa. I hope you enjoy your stay here!"
Word of advice: Don't bad-mouth coffee or any of it's by-products unless you're interested in a tour of the AM Dungeon! (The Boss really likes coffee!) :)
Welcome to answerMug, Lunaaa. I'm a newbie too but it already feels like home.
I joined late in November, lasted a couple of weeks, and closed my account. Didn't like it. Then I thought about it for a month, came back in January, and was made welcome. We've got some great people and you'll learn to cherrypick your way through anything that annoys you. Have fun, and if you need any help, just ask. We're all willing to lend a hand.
I just joined here and was an EP member as well. All I can say is have fun and grab somebody's hand so they can guide you. Everything works if you let it
