  • I may have invented fake news, though I didn't call it that.

    During 1999/2000 I was the breakfast announcer on a community radio station. It was a typical breakfast program with music, occasional quizzes, and novelties. So I invented a segment called "Not Serious News" as part of the entertainment. It was quite popular. 

    Unlike the orange-topped inhabitant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue I didn't expect anybody to take it seriously.

    Now that's is comedy/satire/parody/entertainment... what you didn't, not the one on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. That one is scary news as so many is still blindly believing, or defending this. Ugh.

    And that's the really scary part. I can't imagine the hate and nativity (won't use stupidity) they must possess to sleep calmly at night.
