    If your country is led by a dictator, you would have no choice but have government-controlled news.  True, you could turn the news off, and not read papers, but then you would know nothing.

    If Trump had his way all news sources that didn't agree with him would be done away with and only his version of the truth would remain.
    Like FOX news for instance.
