Me too and I've stopped for awhile. You're being way too critical of your looks. No doubt that I'm the same way too. I guess you can keep taking them until you are happy with the one you end up with. That one good one could create interests in taking more.
I thought I was a late bloomer. People who don't take any or very many are the way that you and me seem to be. I'm told it's perfectly normal.

Selifes are making people narcisstic Didge, we were at Grand Canyon in June 2016 and there was this guy precariously standing at the edge and taking selfies.....we all helplessly watched because even if we shouted at him he would be startled and one slip meant......the end!
Not for me they haven't. But the whole business is moderately interesting. What do people do with them all - if someone takes a picture of themselves once an hour, say, for a significant period of time the accumulation would be vast but what motivation is there to look at them. They would be more or less the same, by some kind of definition. If I likened it to a disease would I be going too far?
I am only aware of two people taking selfies. My niece is proud of losing a bazillion pounds and she posts several pix every day in her Zumba outfit. My grand nephew likes to hold the camera above himself for some reason, so I feel like god looking down on him and whatever he is doing.
