He was an incredibly gifted architect. His designs were so far ahead of the times and his colleagues. He was the uncle of actress Ann Baxter I believe. I wonder if he ever designed a home for her? He designed a building on Maiden Lane in San Francisco which I saw many decades ago. Of course there is the world-famous "hanging waters" home...I think that's what they call it. One-of-a-kind genius. You have great taste m'dear! Thank you for your reply bh! I've seen some homes he designed many many decades ago that are so livable today! Amazing man!
