I believe "unwavering" is nothing more than a word for Trump. As we have already seen in many cases, he has changed his position on several key issues many times over. Unwavering commitments of contradictions, lies, alternate facts, and driving the bus, is more like it.
Although I do not agree with the current position, or need for Nato, I too, would be wondering about Trumps commitments. It's ALL conditional, on what "Fake News" [sic] reports.
