When Trump READS a speech from a teleprompter, are those HIS words, or his "advisors"? Do you like the SCRIPTED Trump better than the off the cuff Trump?

Hello:

Yeah, that.

Anyone that listens to anything that passes through that idiot's pie hole has to be daft.  As daft as he is.

He can read the phone book, he is still batshit crazy.     It is way too little too late and if he had started out this way, he would still be as ineffective as he was prior with all his lying and blustering.   He can read till the cows come home.  He is no President, he is a joke.    He has no skills regarding political  experience, he has no skills regarding being a public speaker, he has no skills to be anything but a large, loud ass.  I'm surprised he knows HOW to read, actually.

  • Those words he's speaking from the teleprompter are most definitely not his.

You'll notice how educated and intelligent this ninkompoop's scripted speeches are and in no way resemble the third grade verbiage he pukes whe he babbles off the cuff.

  • Since the left are determined to deliberately misinterpret everything his says, a scripted speech is a good idea. It needs to be careful crafted to prevent single sentences or sentence fragments being quoted out of context.

    Hello again, AS:

I'm the left..  I HEARD Trump say that Mexicans are rapists..  It wasn't HIDDEN.  It wasn't COUCHED.  It wasn't out of CONTEXT.  It was his WORDS.  I even SHOWED you the video.  Nonetheless, you still maintain that I misinterpreted it.

May I suggest, Sir, that it's YOUR side who deliberately misinterprets what he says???

  • He sounds like a phony when using the scripted speeches, but he sounds like an idiot when not. I guess I'll take "idiot" because at least then we know exactly what his real views are and we can judge him accordingly.

  • You either don't have a firm grasp of the English language or you're being very disingenuous.

Even the far left Salon didn't stoop that low.

If you genuinely can't see you're wrong, I'm at a loss to explain it any better than salon. I give up.

  • I also heard him say Mexicans were rapists... I find it very interesting that Trumps supporters completely ignore the words that come out of his mouth.

  • Stepper - I agree that the grammar present is bad. (There is a reason why most politicians avoid speaking off the cuff. They want to avoid this kind of nonsense.)

The subject of the passage changed in an unclear manner. In the phrases that contain the verb "send", the subject is Mexico. In the phrases that contain the verb "bring", the subject is the immigrants. Mexico sends immigrants. The immigrants bring undesirable things such as drugs, and crime. (A country can't bring something because it doesn't move.)

Having flipped the subject to immigrants he continues to say. "They are rapists, and some I assume are good people.".

All grammar aside, if a person wants to honestly assess the spirit of what someone said, they need to include moderating statements. He said "some I assume are good people" so he is clearly not saying that all are rapists. If all are rapists then it natural follows that none are good people.

He's clearly talking about statistical levels of crime in that population. If he is wrong, he is wrong. Nothing he said makes him a racist. "I don't want them here because they're brown" would be racist. He never said a word about race.
