Assuming you have control, you should always spend time doing what you like/being with those you like. Not the opposite. Do you and do you?

I'm doing something that I like to do right now with someone I like very much. It's nice to have people that make you feel comfortable. What I'm trying to say is that a person should always surround himself with people that make life worth living. However, I sometimes still try to punish myself by not being around anyone that could very well make my life awesome.
