Has anybody read a novel about the CIA's "MK Ultra" program?

I've been trying to track it down on Google. I'm looking for a particular novel (there are others on the subject) and would appreciate the author's name as well as the book title, please.

  • Without a title Amazon wouldn't be able to give me anything Google can't. But thanks for the suggestion.

  • I might disagree there ... Search for CIA, ultra etc ... It will return many books, mostly fiction... But the titles may trigger a memory ... Good luck

  • Heard of it in a few books I read but nothing specifically about it. I know they tried using some of the techniques on soldiers in Vietnam but now you have me wondering.

  • I found those, Rooster, but it's one particular novel I'm looking for. I mentioned it in response to another question and promised to try to locate the title for Bozette. I've had no luck with a number of Google searches. I'm hoping somebody will titillate my memory enough to give me a clue. Thanks for the answer.

Would this book be about the H.A.A.R.P. transmitters in Alaska?

  • No, Maurice. It was a mind control project using hypnosis and drugs (including LSD). If you Google "CIA MK-ULTRA" you'll find lots of references, including the senate inquiry. It was a very nasty experiment.
