    A WALL!   No No No!  I'm kidding, really I am.

    A roof is better if its bigger and higher.  My house has a 1.5 metre overhang.  That's better.  We don't get rain next to the foundation.  A higher roof is attractive in terms of proportion and makes for more room underneath, plus it helps certain kinds of snow to slide off.
