I'm sure that anyone with a curiosity uses it without knowing what "scientific method" is. Does that make them scientists? I'll use an analogy...A chef. "I wonder what would happen if I used this ingredient in my new recipe? "I'll bet it would taste good." He tries it and puts it on the menu and gets feedback from his customers. Most say it taste lie crap. Back to the cutting board. Is he a scientist? I think so.
