Treat all people as friends until they prove themselves to be otherwise. Get to appointments on time. When riding a bicycle don't try to claim right of way over a speeding semi-trailer.

The individuals in my family who have caused irreversible damage to others must be kept at a distance using a combination of lukewarm courtesy and soft ways of saying no.
My mother once admitted that she may not ever have actually wanted to marry and have a child, so that tended to make me feel that I had no value....
As I got older, I realized that some of my talents apparently gave me certain insights not found in the people around me about the best way to proceed in many situations...
So, I only have one basic rule: God my way, it's the only way to go...
