Ever keep a diary? Were the entries brief/lengthy? I tried but only lasted a few days. Writing things down diminished them. I wonder why?

  • When I was about 14 I started to keep a diary but after a few months I got tired of it.  Years later when I was clearing my parents house I found my old diary and one of the entries said "I will never, ever forget this day if I live to be 100".    What the heck did I DO?

    Oh my gosh! You didn't write it down in the diary? Oh boy. Well maybe one day it will come to you in a flash of insight! I admire folks who can keep diaries year after year. I couldn't. I gave it a shot. Thank you for your reply Yogafan and Happy Wednesday!  :)
