What if we are waking up from one and for the first time in a long time now facing reality? Liberals and Hillary supporters should come to mind. Was it always an illusion they were in? Created by who, Rosie? By whom? Hollywood? The networks?

I refute the initial premise. Reality is external to one and imposes itself on one. This is why one looks right and left before crossing a street, does not touch a glowing red burner or run full speed into a brick wall... reality. Not illusion.
Thank you for your reply whistle and Happy Thursday. When you say "one" you mean everyone or just you? Do you always speak for others? You are that certain of your premises/conclusions? :(

I wouldn't really mind, since we'd still all be in the same boat. And it wouldn't make us not real, it would just mean that it was possible to create real people with computers
Do you understand how 3D printers work? I don't. Aren't they capable of creating body parts? That is just simply mind-boggling. So it isn't a stretch for me to think computer-generated human beings could happen one day. Obviously I have no scientific background at all. But lots of thing happen that I don't understand. That could be one of them. Thank you for your thoughtful reply DWF and Happy Thursday. I wonder if computer-generated people would be the next scapegoat? "Real" humans would attack them and have something new to hate/abuse/vilify. SIGH. :(
