Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Just because YOU have not experienced what others have does not give you the right to denigrate/demean/dimish theirs. Do you? Why?
I try hard not to.. but I see it happening so so so many times.. it's hard.. it frustrates the heck out of me.. I so so so wish that people could think outside the box.. realise that while we see things a certain way, based on OUR experiences and perceptions, others have very different perceptions and experiences.. nothing is black and white, (well except that Trump is a nasty goit lol). I do so wish people could be more understanding of others differences in terms of experiences etc..
Here's the thing honey. We are all wired differently. We have different intellects/experiences/backgrounds/personalities /strengths/weaknesses/limitations and so we can only be what we are and whom we are. When we interact with one another we react to what we are given by others. We have no control over that. It could be awesome (you're awesome in my opinion) or it could be crap. You never know so you gotta go with the flow. If you find someone with whom you connect be very grateful and appreciative. It isn't gonna happen often and so you treat them with the special respect they deserve and let them know that you find them pleasurable/ exceptional and that they are always welcome in your home, on your question thread or anywhere you are. The others are simply white noise and all you can do is your best to tolerate them with civility even though they may not extend that same courtesy to you! We always have to try to be the best that we can be no matter with whom we come in contact! Thank you for your reply DdbTD! :).
