Discussion»Questions»Entertainment» I've never seen a Zombie movie/read a Zombie book. Do Zombies KNOW they're the walking dead or do they think they're like everyone else?
It depends on which movie, tv series, or book you read. For example, in the tv show, The Walking Dead, an infection similar to Meningitis invades the brain, kills the host, then restarts the brain stem so that the zombies can only walk and eat. They are essentially animals. On the other hand, in the movies 13 Days Later/13 Weeks Later, the hosts are still alive but the brain is flooded with the hormones assosiated with rage, anger, and aggression causing them to attack and kill anyone they see. They called it the Rage Virus.
