  • He means that when you ask a question now your name appears with it as well as your avatar. That's only from today.

    Are you  using the mobile version of this site?? i don't see anything different when i look at the questions, the names and avatars have always appeared beside the questions :/ This post was edited by Skunky Stinkerson at March 6, 2017 8:17 PM MST

  • I normally use a laptop. But I just used my smart phone to check it and the names appear there too. Previously, when a question was asked, only the avatar appeared alongside it. Now the asker's name is shown above it.

    ohh i see what you mean now.. maybe i just didn't notice that the names weren't there before because i recognized the members by their avatars.

    The general question page has the name on it now: http://answermug.com/forums/topics

    Questions are also stamped with the time and we moved the action-oriented buttons to below the question, so it was more of a natural flow.

  • I'd also like to thank JA for that. It makes it so much easier to filter out the rubbish without accidentally skipping over a valid question because a number of people are using the default avatar.

    I'd like to take credit, but we did have the help of a donor with that project. I don't know if they want their name said, but someone was very kind to the Mug and helped us along with that one.
