  • If I wasn't constrained to using an ellipse I'd have used five dots for the five plovers that follow the Wandering Jew wherever he travels. Not to say that Mr Trump is Jewish, of course, but the Jews are a canny race and I'll bet they have their eyes on him.

  • I knew I'd fallen short but, ellipses and tildes were beyond me. 

    Back before computers there were some incredible pictures put together using teleprinters and tape. I never had anything like the skill but did have the tapes for one or two of them.

    This looks horrible on an iPhone!  I did it on a laptop, and it took me almost an hour of trial and error to get done as much as I could before frustration finally got the best of me. It's supposed to say, "I've got nothing," but I didn't realize until halfway through it that I was only allowed four characters per line.
